Your tutor is John Whitaker, a qualified and experienced teacher with many years experience in schools and in adult education, former head of creative arts at Southend High School for Girls, an A level examiner and part-time principal of Southchurch Adult Education Centre. John has exhibited widely and has work in many public and private collections, his preferred media are watercolours and oils with an emphasis on basic skills - learning to see, drawing, colour, use of tone, texture and line to record and realise your own intentions. Above all -John’s most passionate belief - is that what you are doing should be enjoyable.
